Caption: Rock Crusher area. Believe this was first area 9th Engineers hauled rock for fill to Route # 1. Later another Rock Crusher area was established near Hill 54 Tam Ky area as to be closer to the areas fill was being put onto Route # 1. Route # 1 was three foot below sea level when 9th Engineers started the task.
