PHOTO 1406
Caption: Two Charlie Company lads, Harry Parmer and Tony Lynch, on the deck of the USS Fort Marion, LSD-22 in port at Pearl Harbor(Circa, May 1966). Lynch and I had our liberty cards yanked by company CO at Camp Pendleton for fighting with three other Marines at the EM Club but we still managed to pull liberty at Pearl without getting caught before heading to Vietnam. The lesson we learned --- Improvise, adapt and overcome.
