PHOTO 0219
Caption: (History of Memorial) Jerry Collier and Kurt Duncan were both KIA's in 1968. There was an old rusted anchor at the BASE in Chu Lai and we thought it would be appropriate to erect a memorial for Kurt and Jerry - I often wonder if the NVA destroyed it, or if by some stroke of luck maybe it's still there. To the best of my recollection the inscription read: In Memory of: HM2 Jerry Collier 7 February 1968 HM3 Kurt Duncan 19 Sept 1968
