Caption: Fifth from right is I believe: Peterman. Gunny to his right is Charles Cunningham, he knew the nomenclature of every part of every mine in the world, I think he dreamed of making love to mines! Peterman stepped on a mine in Ca Lu, then with half his foot gone, gives me his camera and says "get my pic on liftoff", then makes the chopper pilot land and get his camera. Must've been a marine "thing". Photo was taken at going away party in Chu Lai: destination: DMZ, lucky us.
